Caitlin Ritchie

Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Creative Edge Dance Academy, LLC.  Caitlin was a competitive studio dancer as well as high school and college team dancer.  Caitlin worked at a gymnastics and cheerleading facility in and started up a competitive dance program there.  Her choreography has led her students to many national and state titles as well as many prestigious grand championship titles and paid bids to the US Finals.  Her unique choreography is sought after in Northern New Jersey and as far as southern California.  As a former head tumbling coach at a cheer gym, she is USASF and USAG certified.  Thus far at Creative Edge, she has taken many new dancers and turned them into great competitors.  At CEDA, she challenges the students to not only learn proper technique but to embrace their own artistic abilities.  In these short years, Creative Edge has won many regional titles, National titles, and now has three World Dance Championship titles!  Her routines have received countless awards for creativity, choreography, Entertainment, Showmanship, as well as many others.  She teaches all age groups and enjoys working with all of her students.  She is a New Jersey certified elementary school teacher.  Working with children is Caitlin’s passion.  She uses her knowledge in teaching elementary school to help her become a better dance instructor and bring out the best in all of her students.  Caitlin prides herself in teaching students the proper technique of dance while helping them achieve fitness, grace, discipline, and confidence.  We don't just train dancers here, we are creating young men and women to become the best version of themselves.

Kaitlin Durand-Bonaventure

Kaitlin is very excited to be a part of the Creative Edge family! She was a former coach and head Tumbling instructor for both allstar and high school cheerleading.  She knows what it takes to get her students ahead of the game.  She has a strong background in dance and competitive cheer, and has dedicated more than 20 years to these two sports while growing up.  She is USASF and USAG certified.  Even after a combined 10 years of coaching, it still gives her great pleasure to see her students grow and develop into such beautiful performers both on the mat and on the stage.  About two years ago, she took time off from teaching when she became a mother to a beautiful daughter, Olivia.  Kate is looking forward to the many years that Olivia will spend at Creative Edge and the lifelong memories she will make.
